Dear Rabi,
We take great pleasure of inviting you with your family to a get-together function on 12th and 13th November 2005 to be held at Rourkela. Rourkela has no strong historical or emotional linkage with our batch-mates except for a study tour conducted in our final year when we had a brief stop-over here, Nirmal, Usha and late Usha joined us from here and Basant's in-laws are based here but currently five of us are posted here and it's now a vibrant city with new hopes and ideas. When some of us from Cuttack and Bhubanaswar asked us to arrange the 2005 scheduled get-together here, we were happy and do take the responsibility and work hard to make the get-together a memorable one.

We request you to kindly cross the dates 12th and 13th November 2005in your calendar to take part in the meet at Rourkela. We will try to include all types of fun and frolic during the meet and keep our minds open to what you suggest us. We five have met here and have come up with a tentative programme where we have decided to take you on sight-seeing to near by tourist places like Mandira Dam, Indira Gandhi Park, Hanuman Vatika ,the Vedvyas temple and the recently developed Vaishno Devi temple on the hill-top. We are also arranging to celebrate silver jubilee marriage anniversary of friends that fall in calendar year 2005 during the meet and also celebrate the same of those who have already completed it. Rourkela being far off from main-stream Orissa, we are contemplating you to meet some senior and junior friends from MKCG Medical College working here during lunch or dinner time only once.

We expect you to arrive here on 11th November morning/evening or 12th morning and leave by 13th evening/night or 14th morning. We have negotiated with Hotel Deepti, Rourkela for accommodation of friends and their families and also their sprawling lawn by the side of the hotel for the get-together function. In order to cover the costs we request you to send us Rs.5000/- per family as participation charges. We hope to open an account soon in the joint names of Usha and Niyati and will let you know the details of draft you need to make. But before that we would like you to send us a simple letter or e-mail indicating your reaction to this proposal and your wish to take part. It will be great to hear from you soon.

In consultation with all of us here and some staying at other places, it has been decided to request individual members attending the meet to donate a sum of Rs.3000=00(Rupees three thousand only). Drafts may be made in the name of " P Mahapatra- Bank of India, Civil Town Branch, Ac. No.8076". No Dr. is to be prefixed to Prafulla's name.
