Bidhu's mother passes away

Bidhu's mother left for heavenly abode on 20th March 2009 at Cuttack.
Here is a copy of Bidhu's mail.

Dear All,

We lost our mother,on 20th March around 9.25 pm,breathing her last
at our home in Cuttack.She had remained bedridden for more than 6
months and passed her last hours calmly.
I had gone and returned from Cuttack yesterday.Sriya(our daughter) has
to go to Hamburg on 27th to rejoin her next semester.Then I and Tulika
will go again to Cuttack on 28th for the 10th and 11th day death
ceremony.I will return back to Delhi on 31st.
Pl convey to all who have been a part our lives.

We, all classmates, express our deep condolences for the departed soul. May God give enough courage to Bidhu and his other family members to face the bereavement. May God help the departed soul to rest in peace.

I realized that I had not performed the Thread Ceremony of my two sons. I never believed in that. But now I want to do that. Accordingly the Thread Ceremony (Upanayan) will be held on 26th March 2009 (a few days from now) at the Jagannath Temple, Hauz Khas, New Delhi. On the same day in the evening I would like to host a dinner for my friends and relatives at the Lawns of India International Centre Annexe, New Delhi.
