Unofficially, he's the President of MKCG-1975 batch and in the basence of Golak who failed to make it Mihir's words were law to all of us. A very sensible person, he conducted the small official function in the evening very befittingly where w had also invited seniors and juniors from MKCGMC working in Rourkela for dinner.

Baidyanath was initially a bit hesitant to decide whether to come to Rourkela at all for the meet, but once he decided to come, he pulled his wife with him and was one of the driving forces in getting others like Umesh Babu to Rourkela.
