Prof. Nityanand Pradhan is no more

A man who loved life as it came, a man who cared for his family, friends and society at large from the core of his heart, a man who laughed heartily and very loudly even in the worst of situations and loved to care for all psychiatric patients from Orissa in NIMHANS, Banglore passed away in the ICU of Kiran Majumdar-Shaw Hospital, Bangalore around 1030 am this morning. He was suffering from an autoimmune interstitial lung disease for the last couple of years. Had some flare up for which he got admitted on 9th July, Monday. Had further complications and was put on ventilator on 13th. Both his children and wife were with him when he passed away.
