MAANA BASA GURUBARA OSHA

A discourse on Odia culture by Bibhuti Baba As Mahalaxmi Purana mythology, Laxmi went out of Badadeula to be worshiped by Shriya Chandaluni on a SuklaGurubara of Margashira Month. Shewas refused entry into Badadeula by Jagannatha and driven away. But hebecame Laxmi chhada and had to begfor food , till Laxmi herself fedher.The occasion is observered as MAANABASA GURUBARA OSHA. I feel good torespect these old traditional small house hold rituals and observed this lastthursday.- Bibhuti
