Batchmates Sadasiv-Niyati: 2019

Prabhat Das, soft spoken and a bit shy, was staying in 2nd floor of 2nd hostel of MKCG medical college. For his family connections with West Bengal , he had to communicate with Bengalis. But though he could read, was unable to write. And I helped him, for had a special attachment. After pass-out, though both of us were in West Bengal Health Services, we had again contact with each other after retirement when he joined as MO Zilla Parishad, Uttar Dinajpur . He settled at Raiganj , Uttar Dinajpur. Though he was an active participant in our group WhatsApp, for the last couple of months, he was silent, seemingly was having health problems. He passed away on 25.03.2019. He is survived by wife Santa Das and son Arabinda Das. May his soul rest in peace.
